HOUSTON, Texas, April 10th, 2008 — George Biggar, Founder & CEO of Toronto-based EagleEye Camera Systems, announced today the kick-off of a major initiative with top-rated site camera provider Digital Job Site, Inc.  Biggar is a leading expert on wireless system design, video applications and corporate security, as well as a former Associate Director with Bell Canada’s elite Enterprise Wireless Data Solutions team.  His ground breaking work in construction technology is so pivotal that EagleEye Camera Systems has already secured some of Canada’s most progressive and innovative industry leaders as clients, including the largest construction company in the country.  

 

EagleEye’s site camera system allows rapid deployment of internet based, ultra high resolution, digital PTZ camera systems in the construction industry. This allows users the ability to remotely monitor activities on a construction project including overall project progress, sub-contractor performance, safety practices, environmental issues, and general security.  These systems also reduce the number of site visits needed by engineers, architects and project managers, while at the same time allowing for off-site collaboration between various work groups and interests. 

 

EagleEye Camera will be using the industry leading Digital Job Site web portal to offer premium services to its client base.  Among their offerings, Digital Job Site offers the industry’s most intuitive web based image archiving applications, allowing a client to view still images from any point in a job site’s life span, and to instantly create an on-demand time lapse movie of the project from ground breaking to the present.  For large general contractors and developers, it allows the instant location of job sites on a mapping system.

 

EagleEye Camera Systems will now be the primary Canadian licensee for the portal application, and will serve as the primary authorized Canadian reseller and installer for the entire suite of advanced hardware and software products and services currently offered by Digital Job Site.
